  • My son has huge emotions and is such an empath and feels everything so deeply. He has been having a hard time managing his emotions so two weeks ago we started your journal. He was hesitant at first, but I made a fun little game of it and he was all in. Now he literally asks to do it before and after school almost every single day. He loved drawing the feeling critters and he has opened up more than he has before about his feelings. We have also been practicing the 5,4,3,2,1 calm down technique and he actually did it at drop off at school which is a major trigger for him. It helped turn his morning around.
